Life Lately.

Colt and Daddy deer hunting.
Case perfecting the strider bike (the boy is good too!)
 Fixing Dad's tires.
 Jax riding the plasma car.
 Love little baby buns.
 Mama snuggling her girl.
Jax loving on Colbi.
Colbi rockin the Nike beanie and a cute smile for Colt's soccer game.
My big kindergartner. I sure do miss him when he is gone all day. He is such a big help and is the best big brother to his little brothers and sister.
Colbi Lyn at 5 weeks old. Her personality is coming out and so far it seems pretty sweet and mellow. Her smiles are the best!

Boys wrestling with daddy who had just gotten home from a fishing trip. This picture shows pretty much what is looks like 90% of the time Dave is home. The minute he walks in the door the boys want to wrestle.
Fall is finally here and the weather is starting to feel like it too. We have been making the most of the back to school schedule and trying to find time to spend together as a family too.  Dave took both the older boys deer hunting (Case was not happy about this but we told him he had to be potty trained to go deer hunting), Colt is playing soccer, Colt and Jax are in AWANA at our church, I am attending MOPS at another local church here which has been fun and both Jax and Case seemed to like their Moppets classes (Case called it his preschool), Colt got pretty sick for about 10 days and ended up with an ear infection he missed two days of school and a couple soccer games but is back to feeling well again. We are looking forward to a fun fall and all the holidays that the season brings with it.

Colbi Lyn : 1 month

Our little girl is doing great and growing so fast. The last month has flown by and she is definitely getting taller and filling out her clothes. I have a feeling the three month clothes are going to be packed away soon. She is a great eater and sleeping pretty well at night. The last week or so she has been going to bed around 9 and sleeps till somewhere between 3 and 4 then back up again around 5:30 or 6. I wish I had more time to just sit and hold her but I have three other little boys that I love just as much and they need my time and attention as well. I have just accepted that this is the way it is and I am happy she is growing and doing so well. She is starting to smile too which is always fun. The boys love to sit by her and try to make her smile, its a competition who can do it first. She is a very protected and loved little girl.
1 month stats:
Weight: 10lbs (60%)
Height : 23.5 inches (100%)
Head Circumference : I can't remember the measurement but it was in the 90%

Colbi Lyn : 3 weeks

We went to church this morning and Colbi wore her very first dress. It was the first present I received after she was born. My friend Audra came to the hospital just an hour after she was born and brought her this adorable dress. Since it was newborn size it barely fit her but I wanted her to wear it at least once. I am going to have fun putting her in dresses for the next couple years.

Even after 3 weeks I still am having a hard time believing she is mine. She is just the sweetest little girl and I hope that does not change.

Where is Fall?

We are half way through September and still dealing with temperatures well into the 90's. While the mornings and evenings are a bit cooler we are definitely ready for some cooler temps. With Colt in school I am back to just 3 kids during the day. The boys love to go out hiking and exploring so we try to get out in the mornings before it gets too hot.

Colbi hanging out in the BOB, the first of many times she will be in this stroller over the next 5 years.

Colt after his first soccer game, he is playing on the exact same team he played on last year and is having lots of fun.
The little boys climbing all over daddy at Colt's soccer game. Lots of wrestling occurs as well. I don't think that daddy gets to watch much.

Colbi Lyn : 2 weeks old

Colbi is now 2 weeks old. The last 2 weeks have flown by and I am even more aware of time passing as I know she is my last baby. She is the sweetest little thing, so patient and easy going thus far. Her brothers do really well with her, she probably gets about 50-60 kisses a day and each boy asks to hold her multiple times throughout the day. I spend my evenings after putting the boys to bed just holding her for as long as possible. She had a doctor appointment today and she is back to her birth weight of 8lbs 10oz and is now 22 inches long. She is a tall baby, I can already tell in a lot of her clothes because the newborn pants and onesies are too short. She is sleeping pretty well, most nights I put her to bed around 9 and she sleeps till 2 and wakes up to eat then back up again around 4:30 or 5 to eat again. So far she has been great about just eating and going right back to sleep. Some nights she will wake up more but for the most part she is on a pretty good sleeping schedule, during the day she eats about every 2.5 to 3 hours. I really wish this baby stage lasted a bit longer.......
