We had a nice weekend at home, going into it we had no real plans except to stay home which was nice since we have been on the go a lot lately. Saturday morning I was getting ready to take Case on a run and Jax started begging to go with me. I didn't really want to push both of them since I was planning a longer run but I couldn't say no when he started saying "pease mommy". Both of them were awesome and fell asleep for part of the run, I had planned on running around 7 miles but when they both fell asleep I just kept going. It was just one of those runs where everything felt right, the weather was perfect and I wanted to go forever. 11 miles later we were back home.
We had pancakes for breakfast, Dave went on a 25 mile bike ride and I did some serious deep cleaning (this actually occurred on and off all weekend). The boys were busy playing outside in the yard and on our swing set.
Dave and my dad went fishing in the afternoon and my mom and I spent some time together while the boys played at her house. It was nice to have some help with the boys and even nicer to actually get to catch up and spend time with my mama. Unfortunately, Case woke up Sunday morning with a fever so I took the older boys to church and Dave and Case stayed home. We spent the rest of the day inside because it was pouring rain for much of the day. I did more cleaning (it feels never ending right now) and Dave spent the afternoon in the garage (which is a never ending job as well). We finished our Sunday night watching the movie Courageous after the boys were in bed (great movie).
Looking forward to another week spent with my boys. Life is never boring with these dudes around.
