Random Ramblings

Afternoons when Jax goes to preschool usually means us getting outside and going on a walk and exploring.

Next year I will only have these two home with me all day.
Goodies with Grandparents at Colt's school.
Case enjoying a cake pop that Aunt Marni sent him after he learned to ride a regular bike!
This kid is truly a lover of the outdoors. He talks hunting, fishing and football 24/7.

My 34th birthday pic with my kiddos!
Went bike riding at rooks park and brought the fishing poles one Friday evening.

Dave and Jax went to Monster trucks for Jax's best buddy Joel's 6th birthday.
 Love this sweet kid!
Brothers being silly. I love their relationship. They play SO much together and although they have their share of fights overall they play so well together.

 Case and Colbi coloring.

Dave took the day off and took all the boys fishing. He said they never complained once the entire day and were so well behaved.

House Painting Party

Dave's parents, brother and sister came over for the weekend and helped us paint our house. The results were amazing and the time together was so much fun. Seriously, I did not know that a house project could be that fun. We had lots of laughs, good food and even amongst the crazy of having 6 little kids running around we still managed to paint the entire house, paint all the doors and put up new lights in a weekend. There is no way we could have finished all of it without their help. Our house has now been listed and we are waiting on buyers!
Finished and ready to list!

Bonus room became boys room in 2011 right before Case was born, then Case moved in here in 2013 before Colbi was born.
This room has been the nursery for all of our kids.
I am going to be so sad to leave this swing set, the kids have loved playing on it and our yard has been perfect for having young kids.

Mill Creek Property!

We purchased 10 acres of property on Mill Creek which is located not far from where I was raised. A river runs behind it and there is going to be lots of land for these boys and Colbi to explore growing up. Dave and I are excited to start the process of planning and building a place where we can raise our family.  The first step is to sell our current house! More to come soon I hope.....

Colbi : 18 Months

 Oh my these two......

This girl keeps up on her toes. She is always moving, yelling, pointing or wanting her mama. She talks and talks and talks and pretty much is never quiet unless she is around other people then she becomes extremely shy. She eats whatever we give her, loves to boss the dogs around and smother them with hugs and kisses (not always gently), she wants to do whatever her brothers are doing but she wants to do it herself. Her personality is BIG and she knows what she wants which I know is going to serve her well in life (but it can be challenging for me at times). We love her with all our heart and love what she brings to our family. She may have 3 big brothers but I don't think she is going to let them tell her what to do ever. She is wearing size 2T clothes (she is tall) and size 3 diapers. I constantly try and put her hair in ponytails and the first chance she gets she rips them out. She sleeps well, 7-7 at night and usually one 2-hour nap during the day (though she likes to skip them from time to time). She has become really good at the plasma car and likes to push the limits by riding it all the way down the street. She also loves to give hugs and kisses as well as knuckles to her brothers before bed and every night when I am putting her to bed she lays her head on my shoulder, pats my back and says "mama". This little girl has changed our life and we are loving watching her grow.
