Halloween 2015

Halloween this year was extra fun because we got to spend it in Boise with Marni and Chris. We surprised her for her birthday and drove up for the weekend. She was so excited when we got there and couldn't believe we had come.
After a morning run in the foothills with my little sister we came home and the kids got some hot tub time.
Then it was time to carve pumpkins!

Colt convinced Marni to take him to a costume store and she ended up buying him and Case new costumes (spoiled kids!).

 Colt the blue ninja.
 Jax the policeman.
 Case the firefighter.
 Colbi as Super-girl.
 My adorable crew.

We picked up my niece Maggie (Cinderella) and drove over to Harrison Street in Boise.
This street was amazing, it was a mile long and almost every house was completely decorated in different ways but so amazing. It was fun to just see all the different decorations and the way people dressed up for the occasion.

We started early but it still took over an hour to get up and down Harrison before walking back to the car. The kids got so much candy but that did not stop them from wanting to trick-or-treat around Marni's neighborhood when we got back to her place.
Jax was over all the walking so he stayed at the house and handed out candy while the other three did some more trick-or-treating. It was such a fun fun day and so fun to be with Marni for the weekend. We miss her so much!!!

Fire trucks visited at preschool co-op and the kids had fun crawling around and checking them out.

A beautiful fall morning out on the country roads.
 These two.......
Daddy's home!! 2 weeks away and the kids would not leave him alone.
 Saturday morning snuggles........
 ....and watching cartoons.
Before church selfie. I love these 4.
Good morning Colbi!
Afternoon bike ride and walk with the littles while the big boys are at school.

Making caramel apples

Aunt Marni sent us a fun box for caramel apples and decorating pears. We spent some time after church today decorating caramel apples. The kids are at a stage where they can all pretty much do most the work themselves (except for Colbi but her brothers are always willing to help her). Doing projects is becoming so much easier and fun!
They all helped unwrap the caramels.
Then after I melted them they got to work covering their apples in caramel and decorating them.
Colbi ate more candy than actually putting it on her apple so I gave her nuts to put all over hers so I can eat it later.

 "J" for Jax.
The finished project! Halloween is 6 days away and the kids are getting so excited!

Jax's Field Trip : Pumpkin Patch

Jax had his first school field trip today to the pumpkin patch. I took Case and Colbi and met them there. He was so cute when he saw us and so excited that we were there. He grabbed Case's hand and led him around with him and let him play with him and all his friends. The weather was perfect and the kids had fun.
