Marni came to town for the weekend and we went out to the Ox and Cart for dinner one night to celebrate my mom's birthday.

Dave and I were working at the house one Sunday afternoon and the kids (namely Colt) talked DiDi into taking them to the pumpkin patch. He also talked her into buying them each a pumpkin.
There are no words for this girl.
Lots of work on the house! This was the house at the beginning of September.
This is the house today. We just spent the last 2 days (and counting) painting! With the help of family (both those helping with kids and food and those helping us paint) it is coming along. The bottom part of the house will be stone. We still have a lot of trim work that needs done and need to paint the dormers but it is fun to see it come together.
