My youngest (for now) little boy is 2 months old today. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. I want it to slow down so I can enjoy every minute of staying home with my kids. Before I know it I will have to go back to work and that is something that I can not even think about right now (I just start crying and getting all emotional!). Anyway, Jax had his doctor check-up today. He is a healthy growing boy weighing in at 13lbs even (80%) and 23 inches (80%). He is still smaller in both weight and height than Colt was at this age but he is my no means small. I get lots of comments already on his huge cheeks and chubby arms and legs. I call him my chunky monkey. He is smiling more and more every day and is starting to making cooing sounds and talk back to us. I forgot how fun this stage is, of course I think every stage is super fun and I always say "oh this is my FAVORITE stage" and then they enter another stage and that becomes my FAVORITE. I guess I love everything about having a baby, I don't even mind getting up at night (especially since its only once a night). I cherish every moment I get alone with Jax and spend most of the time while Colt naps sitting on the couch holding him and just kissing and looking at him. I don't watch television, I don't read books, I don't even get on the computer , I just sit in my living room and snuggle with my sweet little boy. These moments will be over way too soon and I don't want to miss a moment of it.Friday, July 31, 2009
Jax 2 month doctor check-up

You do to watch TV, read books and most of the time are on the computer. Your husband does most of the tending to the childern from what I have observed.

Two month check up already, so crazy! He's such a sweet little boy. You are doing well savoring your time with both boys. When you're aware that time goes by quickly, you do much better about enjoying it!
You are a beautiful person with such a wonderful heart - a mommy heart!
