I had an ultrasound today to get an estimate of weight. Colt was just under 9lbs so my doctor just wanted an idea of how big this baby might be. He/She is already just under 7 pounds and that is at 35 weeks 6 days. This baby is going to be good size if I make it to full term and the ultrasound was correct. Of course these are only estimates and it could be off by as much as a pound but I have a feeling its probably pretty accurate. This baby feels big and is definitely running out of room in there! The baby was measuring at 38 weeks 3 days and his/her head was measuring at 39 weeks 6 days. Colt had a big head too at birth, I blame Dave for that gene:) I go back to the doctor on Tuesday so I will update then and let you know what she has to say. Most likely she will probably give me the option to be induced at 39 weeks if baby is not here yet. I really hope to go into labor on my own this time but there is no way I want to go too far past my due date so I kind of have mixed feelings on the whole thing. I guess there is no point in worrying about it right now.

Just my opinion, but I had a big headed child as well, and... GET THAT SUCKER OUT! I know the feeling of wanting it to be natural, blah blah blah. In the grand scheme of things, whether its natural or induced, doesn't matter, he/she will be healthy and loved, and that's all that matters.
