....God blessed us with our second son, Jax David.
So tiny, so much hair and so dark!
6 months later he is a chubby, smiley and happy little baby that makes our family feel complete!
I don't have any stats for his 6 month birthday because his appointment got rescheduled to the end of December (by then it will be more like his 7 month appointment). However, he has started eating some rice cereal and has had sweet potatoes and peas (both of which he seemed to really like). He wears size 6-12 months and I have him in size 3 diapers though they are still a little big on him. He got his first cold and has been very croupy sounding and wheezy when he breathes. I hate hearing him like that but he is still so happy and just wants to be held a little more which is fine by me. He is still nursing every 4 hours and sleeps from about 7-5:30 pretty regularly now (with a few exceptions here and there). He also gets a veggie with rice cereal in the evenings, I will start adding some oatmeal for breakfast when I am off for Christmas break and add some fruit to his diet as well. I am in no hurry for him to grow up so the slower the better....why can't the baby stage last for 3 years instead of just 1?? He loves to talk, talk and talk some more. He says "dadadada" though I would not call it his first word since its really just a sound and he has no idea what it means regardless of what Dave thinks. I am so in love with him I can not even find words to describe how happy he makes me (of course I am so in love with Colt too but this post is about Jax). I now understand why Dave's mom had 5 kids and why she always says "you love each kid equally" because it is so true! You love them differently but there is no way you can say you love one more than the other. Looking forward to Christmas this year with our family of 4!!!
